Join us at W.O.W. on Mondays and Wednesdays for group counseling sessions and peer support for women living with HIV/AIDS. W.O.W. focuses on health and wellness activities, encourages peer support, and provides childcare for the women in group. Meal provided. Eat to Beat Cancer

Learn how nutrition can benefit your healing, rejuvenation, metabolism, and well-being during or after cancer treatment, as well as for cancer prevention. Delicious meals will be prepared on site with demonstrations, recipes and handouts for home.

Group acupuncture offers support and community for people surviving chronic and life-threatening illnesses. This twice weekly acupuncture group will focus on helping to relieve side effects of chemotherapy, surgery and radiation, and the reduction of stress and anxiety, depression and other symptoms that may arise following treatment for breast cancer.

Access your body's inner wisdom for cancer healing and self-empowerment. This group is open to all women who have had a cancer diagnosis, are in treatment, or are post-treatment.
Sound, imagery, and role playing will be used to develop a connection with our inner wisdom.

Developing Effective Coping Skills

This group is not focused on talking about problems, but learning new coping skills that can be applied to problems to achieve different results.
This group operates from the principle that often real solutions to life's problems involve a change in awareness, a change in attitude, and change in behavior.
Although this is an open group, consistent and on-going participation is recommended in order to achieve desired results.

Gay Men's HIV Peer Support Group

Creating Wellness through Mindfulness Skills

No gurus or sage masters, this ongoing group is for amatuers who want to explore meditation and mindfulness with the hope of improving quality of life and day to day living. This group will consist of experiential exercises in mindfulness and meditation, followed by discussions. Although this is an open, ongoing group, attending six groups is recommended to achieve maximum benefit.
